"Erjautz works in different ways with contrasts. In each case, however, the contrast which is staged is organised less in terms of rhetoric than it is in terms of logic, is motivated less in terms of material than it is in terms of structure, and is offered less as a result than as a starting point for an artistic arrangement. The anachronisms which form the contrasts do not arise as a later addition, but have already been incorporated into the initial considerations that constitute a piece of work."
