Constabi painting is shown to Tubbs

Things get hilarious when Sonny Crockett is shown a slide with a white painting

The Miami Vice episode “The Lost Madonna” (1989) is for a change not about coke dealers but all about making money with classic as well  contemporary art. Crockett and Tubbs  go undercover as artdealers and get their way into the Miami artworld  with a painting  by Mark Constabi. But before they could do so they get some art education. This leads amongst others to a hilarious scene where they were shown a slide of a white (empty) painting which is explained to them as the top of contemporary esthetic mysticism.
